About Life Coffee Brewers

Onibus Coffee opened this walk up window on a busy Dogenzaka block in 2014, a short stand built to bring good coffee to the office workers and commuters who pass through Shibuya every day without a proper cafe nearby. Rather than pour only its own roast, Onibus decided to share the small counter with other Tokyo roasters, turning the stand into more of a rotating showcase than a single brand's outpost.
At any given time the menu carries Onibus's own house blend alongside beans from Switch Coffee Tokyo and Amameria Espresso, plus guest lots that change from visit to visit, all pulled through a La Marzocco Linea PB and a pair of Mazzer grinders crammed into a space barely bigger than a closet. There is nowhere to sit, so people drink standing at the window or carry a cup on into the crowds heading toward the station.
