Standout Coffee

Standout Coffee roasts out of the back room of Stockholm Brewing Co in the Frihamnen harbor district, a studio style bar built by Swedish barista and roasting champions Alexander Ruas and Oskar Garberg. Clean lines and an understated counter keep the focus on the cups rather than the room, with a serious retail shelf of the roastery's own competition grade lots along one wall.

The roasting style favors very light, exact profiles built for high definition flavor, coffees good enough that Agnieszka Rojewska used a Standout selection to win the 2022 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship. Best Nordic Roaster honors from the Nordic Roast Awards Public Choice followed, and the Frihamnen bar now doubles as the showroom where that competition level sourcing gets poured by the cup.
