Kultúrpresszó

Kultúrpresszó sits on Várkerület, the ring street that loops around Sopron's old town, and has been a meeting point for coffee lovers, locals and visitors here for ten years. The walls host a rotating program of photography, painting and other visual art, and the building itself has a real claim to that history: Sándor Tiefbrunner opened Sopron's first photographic studio and glass salon on this site in 1860, running it until 1875. The shop also turns its floor over to mini concerts, book launches and language classes in the evenings.
One grinder is dedicated to the house blend, created and roasted by 42 Coffee, while the second runs a rotating guest coffee chosen from favorite specialty roasters around Europe. Espresso comes off a three group La Marzocco LB90, and single origin filter coffee is brewed to order on a V60. Breakfast runs all day, sandwiches, toasts and bagels alongside vegan options and homemade cakes and pastries, and the counter keeps Sopron beers, regional wines and spirits for anyone staying into the evening. The wheelchair accessible room has free wifi, works for laptops, and welcomes kids and dogs, with a few tables outside on the ring street.
