Kamarija

Kamarija's terrace seating with the Point of View sign and a panorama of Sarajevo's old town rooftops

Kamarija built its name on the view before the coffee, a terrace tucked into the old city walls above Sarajevo with the whole valley of red rooftops and minarets spread out below. Seating runs across two levels, indoor and outdoor, and sunset is the moment the climb up from the old town is really for, the light over the hills spreading across the whole panorama.

Bosnian coffee and a rotating selection of homemade cakes keep the menu straightforward, letting the point of view carry the experience rather than a sprawling drinks list. It has become one of the most visited cafes in the city almost entirely on the strength of that one view.
