Coffee Source has been roasting daily in the Czech Republic for more than fifteen years, working directly with a network of over forty partner farms rather than buying through certification schemes alone, a relationship the roastery sums up as caring more about being real than being fair trade on paper. The Vršovice cafe on Francouzská is the retail face of that roasting operation, a minimalist room built around a large living plant wall that regulars mention as often as the coffee itself.

Espresso here runs rich and well balanced, and the cafe pours it alongside oat milk and other plant based options as standard rather than an upcharge, plus a chai latte that keeps a loyal following coming back. Bags of the house blends, single origin lots, capsules and even home espresso machines are sold both in the cafe and through the roastery's own shop, so a good cup here doubles as an easy way to keep drinking the same coffee at home.
