Le Maung

Le Maung opened on Rue Greneta in April 2024 as France's first Indonesian specialty coffee shop, roasting its own beans with a focus on Indonesian origins and building a following fast. The interesting part is the brew menu. Alongside espresso on a Victoria Arduino and the usual V60, Chemex and batch filter, the same coffees are made as phin, the Vietnamese drip, as cezve, and as moka, so you can taste one lot three ways that most Paris bars never offer.
The full name on the sign is Le Maung Coffee Roaster by OMG. Wifi is on, laptops and dogs are welcome, there are sweets on the counter and the room is air conditioned, which in the 2nd in August counts for something.
