Onest

Onest opened in 2019 in Milan's Dateo neighborhood, the shared project of Lea Pedrinella and Lorenza Licciardello. The name plays on the English word nest, built around the idea of a refuge for people who care about good food, wine, and coffee rather than a quick stop at the counter.
The coffee program runs on traceable, sustainable 100% arabica, a rotating base and guest espresso alongside a filter coffee that changes with the season, pulled through La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino machines with Mahlkönig grinders. A small internal courtyard turns into a natural veranda once the weather warms, and the same room carries a serious natural wine list into the evening, closer to a wine bar than a straightforward cafe once the sun goes down. It closes Monday and Tuesday and otherwise runs from morning coffee into late night the rest of the week.
