Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters

Gringo Nordic tucks its red painted storefront down an alley in the industrial Sandarna district, founded in 2018 by Johan Ekfeldt, who had already co founded Johan & Nystrom, one of Sweden's original specialty roasters. Every coffee is sourced with full transparency direct from single farms, estates and cooperatives, then roasted by hand in small batches on two of the world's most energy efficient roasters.

The shop keeps weekday only hours through most of the year, vinyl records playing over a room stocked with proper brewing equipment and everything from simple blends to rare microlots. One Saturday a month the doors reopen for free cuppings and fika, with Coffee and Vinyl running the Sunday after.
