Orsa

Orsa opened in Vesterbro in the summer of 2023 and pours coffee roasted by Prolog, one of the city's most established names, in a light style the shop leans into rather than apologizes for even when a cappuccino reads sharper than someone expected. The tables carry labels spelling out the house policy on laptops in blunt, unmissable terms, keeping the room a place for conversation and music over the sound of typing, and a Sunday morning running club sets off from the door most weeks. Playlists come from the owners' own record collections as much as any curated background stream, part of a stated identity built as much around music as coffee.

The bench outside on Vesterbrogade fills with regulars, dogs, bikes and beers long after the espresso machine has gone quiet for the day, a spot as comfortable hosting a spontaneous evening hangout as a quick morning coffee. A second location has since opened on Landemærket in Indre By, but Vesterbrogade remains the original and the one with the deeper neighborhood following.
