GITZ Coffee

GITZ is one of the newest roasteries in the city, opened in Østerbro with the roaster itself sitting right inside the café rather than tucked away in an industrial unit elsewhere. Beans are roasted to order in small batches, and the counter offers a genuinely deep list of origins across light, medium, and dark profiles, plus decaf, so a visit can turn into a short conversation about which bag to pick rather than a quick order.

The room reads new build Scandinavian: calm, uncluttered, and roomy enough that tables don't feel stacked on top of each other, with seating both inside and out. Sandwiches and small pastries round out the counter, and the neighborhood has taken to it fast, treating it as the kind of local spot worth a special trip for the bean selection alone.
