Darcy's Kaffe

Darcy's started as a coffee cart before settling into a bright corner spot on Rantzausgade, and the shop still calls itself the neighborhood's living room, which tracks: low armchairs, a green velvet sofa, and shelves of paperbacks make it easy to stay well past the length of a single cup. Coffee rotates through a multi roaster program rather than a single house bean, so the espresso and filter options change with whatever guest roast is currently pouring.
The kitchen bakes its own pastries daily, cinnamon rolls included, and the corner's outdoor tables fill fast whenever the sun is out. Darcy's has since expanded into running the café inside Copenhagen Contemporary, the art center on Refshaleøen, but the original Nørrebro corner remains the one with the sofa and the regulars who treat it like one.
