Hot Numbers Coffee

Simon Fraser founded Hot Numbers out of a mix of engineering background, love of jazz and an obsession with flat whites, opening the original Gwydir Street cafe inside a former Victorian brewery just off Mill Road. The company has since built its own roastery in nearby Shepreth, roasting small batches for both its Cambridge cafes and a wider list of wholesale accounts.

Expect a laid back, art filled room with communal tables, a small garden out back and jazz playing most of the day. The brunch menu runs alongside the coffee list, with vegan and gluten free options built in rather than bolted on, and the whole space doubles as a live music venue on weekend evenings.
