Concept Coffee Roasters runs its Kosicka shop around a wall of mint green shelving stacked with its own retail tins, single origin lots that customers buy nearly as often as they order a cup. Filter coffee and batch brew get equal billing with espresso, an unusual choice in a city where espresso still dominates most menus.

Desserts lean toward pistachio, an eclair and a Slovak veternik among the regulars, cozy enough that people stop in as much for the sweets as the coffee itself. The room stays small and consistently busy rather than expanding into a bigger footprint.
