Röststätte Berlin

Röststätte has roasted its own coffee near Rosenthaler Platz since 2011, built out from a cafe first opened years earlier, and now runs the beans on an energy efficient Loring roaster under Ivo, developing an individual roast profile for each lot rather than running everything through one house curve. Limited releases rotate through fast, a Colombia SL28 anaerobic from Quebraditas Farm was a recent one off, and the online shop backs that up with real country, farm, and process detail on every bag rather than vague blend names.
The Ackerstraße flagship doubles as one of the largest coffee equipment retailers in Berlin, so the same room selling a bag of single origin filter coffee also stocks grinders, V60 setups, and espresso machines, plus a full barista academy running basic, latte art, and compact certification courses for home users and professionals. A second location in the Hackesche Höfe pours the same beans alongside a small coffee cocktail menu, including an espresso martini, for anyone who wants dessert instead of a to go cup.
